1. Can sensor and probe wires
be run in the same conduit?
Yes, the SiteSentinel 2 is approved
for the installation of probes and sensor wires to be installed in the
same conduit.
2. What type of conduit
should be used for probe and sensor wiring?
Ridge steel conduit must
be used.
3. Can I connect an external
alarm to the SiteSentinel 2?
Yes. You will need an Input/Output
Module to control the external alarm.
4. How many external alarms
does the I/O Module support?
The I/O module has twelve
output relays and four inputs.
5. How many probes can
a SiteSeninel 2 control?
The Site Sentinel 2 can
support up to eight smart modules. Since each Smart Module supports
up to sixteen probes, the SiteSentinel 2 can potentially control as
many as 128 probes.
6. What is the SiteSentinel
2 software version that supports the I/O module?
A controller software version
of 1.08 or later is required to use the I/O module.
7. Can I connect an external
modem to the SiteSentinel 2?
Yes, but you will need a
PV250 Terminal Board Part# R20-0227and a Communication Cable, part
number 20-1311.
8. How can I tell when
the battery on the PV235 controller board needs to be replaced?
On the PV235 board located
just above the battery is a green LED and a red LED. If the red LED
is "on" replace the battery.
9. I forgot my password
for the SiteSentinel 2– what should I do?
Go to the main menu and
choose number 1. When the password is highlighted press the ? and
then press the Enter button. Two lines of numbers will appear. Write
them down and call the OPW Fuel Management Systems Technical Service
Department so a technician can decode the numbers and tell you what
your password

10. How can I get my report
to print instead of viewing it on the graphic display?
On the Main Menu enter your
password. Select Report and then select Report Output Setup. Select
Change Output Setup to Printer and now your reports will be sent there
instead of the graphics display.
11. What are the minimum
requirements to run a leak test?
The tank must be at least
50% full and no fuel should have been added at least twelve hours prior
to beginning the test. No deliveries or withdrawals can occur during
the
test and the test duration must be at least two hours. The leak threshold
must be between .05-.1 gal/hr (.2- .4 liters/hr).
12. Does the SiteSentinel
2 have a continuous leak test mode?
No. The tank must be shut
down for a minimum of 2 hours.
