Fueling Security Meets Homeland Security with the Proximity Reader Option for the C/OPT™ Fuel Control System

Advanced security is now available for your unattended fueling operation with Petro Vend’s proximity reader option. When installed in your C/OPT Fuel Island Terminal, fueling access is either granted or denied a cardholder when their proximity card or key (containing an internal antenna) is waved within a few inches of the reader.

Features Reads most existing proximity card formats, so employees can use the same cards they already carry for building access* Cards or keys can also be conveniently obtained from OPW Fuel Management Systems With the C/OPT’s dual reader capability, proximity cards can be used in addition to mag-stripe cards or ChipKeys® for extra access flexibility A “2-card system” combining an employee proximity card with a vehicle key may be used for added security There are no moving parts or physical contact between the proximity cards and the reader making it maintenance-free and extremely reliable Proximity card verification is the most secure and reliable driver or vehicle identification method available today
